


Signal processing is a big area of electrical engineering that deals with analysis of signals in either discrete or continuous time, to perform useful operations on those signals.
Eurolink Systems’s complete turnkey digital signal processing systems featuring options for digitizer channels for high-speed signal data recording and signal generation DAC playback.
Eurolink DSP platforms combine often robust DSP (mainly TI® TMS320xxxxx or Analog Devices® SHARC® or TigerSharc® Digital signal processors) processing with versatile FPGA (mainly XILINX® or ALTERA®) to offer ultra high performance and unprecedented I/O bandwidth.
Where High-bandwidth, low-latency off-board I/O, reconfigurable for nearly any application, High-speed interprocessor communication network, flexibility and scalability are strongly demanded, the Eurolink Systems DSP platform must be present.
Our DSP platform often integrate high-speed digitizing and signal generation with signal processing for demanding DSP applications.
Just as an example, our DSP board features two, 12-bit 1 GSPS A/Ds and two 1 GSPS 16-bit DACs, to spanning an analog input bandwidth of over 2 GHz supports wideband applications and undersampling. The DACs have features for interpolation and coarse mixing for upconversion. The sample clock is from either a low-jitter PLL or external input. Multiple cards can be synchronized for sampling and down-conversion.
A Xilinx Virtex6 with 4 banks of 1GB DRAM provide a very high performance DSP core with over 2000 MACs.
The close integration of the analog I/O, memory and host interface with the FPGA enables real-time signal processing at extremely high rates.
The low power consumption for typical operation and ruggedization levels for wide-temperature operation and 0.1 g2/Hz vibration render our platforms the right solution for you system, whatever should be the application enviroment.
The FPGA logic of our DSP boards can be fully customized using VHDL and MATLAB®. The MATLAB BSP supports real-time hardware-in-the-loop development using the graphical block diagram Simulink® environment with Xilinx System Generator.
Software tools for host development include C++ libraries and drivers for Windows®, Linux® and VxWorks®. Application examples demonstrating the module features are provided.
All systems come complete with a software package for performing all system settings, viewing digital data (either captured or generated), performing signal recordings and playbacks as well as the option for viewing data in either time domain or frequency domain.
