History Continuous Computing was founded in 1998. Dedicated to innovating and delivering the best integrated systems and services in the industry, the company was the first to design and build SPARC-based cPCI systems and the first to ship cPCI Gigabit Ethernet switches. In February 2003, Continuous Computing acquired the portable software business of Trillium Digital Systems from Intel Corporation, which allowed the company to provide integrated solutions consisting of both hardware and software. In July 2005, the company acquired key people, products, and technology from UP Technologies in China. These resources enhanced the company's China market position and provided additional global product development, manufacturing, and regional customer support. In July 2008, Continuous Computing acquired substantially all of the assets of Embedded Solution Partners, a value-added provider of best-in-class embedded software products and services. The company has approximately 300 employees globally and is both ISO 9001:2000 and CMMI Level 3 certified.
